November Solo Show - Invitation and Call for Materials

Hello again!

In addition to the bevy of shows I emailed about a few days ago, I will present all of Connor Chee's Sandpaintings for Piano at Experimental Sound Studios on November 17, 7:30PM.

I'm delighted to share this program length piece, and, in conjunction with these pieces, folks from New Music Chicago will be helping to project visuals on the wall that reflect the melodic manipulations that Chee uses in this work.

In order to do this, I invite you to bring a small, dry object that fits into a category of animal, fungus, mineral or vegetable. Examples would be bird feathers, small rocks, a patch of lichen... Probably it will fail to surprise you that I have a few such materials at home that I can bring, but I invite you to contribute something too if you plan to attend.
