4/27 Composing the Climate at Epiphany

Join me this Sunday, along with Missing Piece as we present piano trios by Scott Rubin, Alissa Voth and Ben Zucker and films by Zack Sievers. In Composing the Climate, the composers, videographer and performers invite you to sit with the multitudinous emotions we experience in contemplating climate change. Presented in one sequence of pieces and films, we encourage reflection as you watch you and listen, and connection with your neighbor after the conclusion of the performance. This project is dear to my heart, as it is an offshoot from years of thinking about what I, as a pianist, could do to bring people together in the face of this shared reality of climate change.
Note that this show is 17+, but younger folks are welcome with an adult.
