A pair of shows - February 7 and 8

Happy New Year!

A couple of shows coming up soon ... the first, at 12PM on February 7, is a celebration of counterpoint through the centuries, played at the beautiful Fourth Presbysterian Church in downtown Chicago. This solo performance will feature contrapuntal works by Élisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, J.S. Bach, Clara Schumann, Frederic Chopin, and Reena Esmail. This free lunchtime concert is sponsored by the Musicians Club of Women, Chicago. Streaming information available on the website below.

The next evening, Chris Ferrer and I will perform works by Debussy, Ravel, Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky at 7:30PM. This concert will be hosted by Fine Arts Music: Performance and Scholarship. Will take place at 2232 W Irving Park Rd. Chicago, IL.
